Jay Decker (tenor) has performed leading roles in Mozart's The Magic Flute, Kirk Mechem's Tartuffe, and Mark Adamo's popular new opera, Little Women, based on the book by Louisa May Alcott. He completed his Master's Degree in Voice Performance and Literature at Northwestern University in 2005, where he has studied with Sunny Joy Langton, Richard Drews and world-renowned baritone, Sherrill Milnes. In addition to opera, he performs frequently as a professional soloist and chorister in Chicagoland Churches, Synagogues and other venues. In 2006 he was a soloist with the Northwestern Summer Orchestra in an exciting performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. And February 2007 he was welcomed back once more to his alma mater as a guest artist in the role of Jenik in Smetana's delightful folk tale, The Bartered Bride. Contact Information: 7510 N.
